Children’s Discovery Center is always looking for exceptional staff. We are now hiring for the following positions across five Toledo-area early childhood education centers.

Head Teacher

(Full-time, Part-time, etc.)

The Head Teacher plays a vital role in creating a joyful, child-centered classroom inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach. This position calls for a passionate educator who nurtures strong relationships with children and families, ensures a safe learning environment, and brings curiosity and care to every part of the school day.

Classroom Assistant

(Full-time, Part-time, etc.)

The Childcare Assistant helps build a warm, welcoming classroom where children feel safe, supported and eager to learn. This caring team member assists with daily activities, encourages developmental play and helps maintain a positive, nurturing environment that meets all licensing and center standards.

Substitute Teacher

(Full-time, Part-time, etc.)

Substitute teachers provide critical classroom support at all CDC centers. This role is ideal for individuals seeking adaptability and allows you to accept shifts based on your availability, work at multiple locations, and set your own pace.

Step 1: Initial Interview
Applicants discuss their resume and completed application with a corporate team member, who will ask questions related to past educational and work experience.
Step 2: Second Interview
Those selected will complete a second interview, which will involve additional discussion of our educational philosophy and open positions with a center director.
Step 3: Orientation
Those hired will be invited to an orientation session, at which time they will complete employment paperwork and become familiar with the policies and procedures of Children’s Discovery Center.
