For more than 40 years, Children’s Discovery Center has been a trusted source of childcare support and education for families across the Toledo area. It’s been our pleasure to partner with parents as we guide little ones through this critical, early stage in their development.

And while the work we do is reward enough, we are always humbled to hear stories of growth from our CDC parents like Rob, whose son Reid is a student at our Harbor Town location. 

What do you love most about CDC? 

“They have very clean and well-thought-out facility designs. I also like the daily communication via the ProCare App they utilize.”

Rob first learned of our programs from one of our team members and, after attending an open house event, saw how CDC care and education could help his child flourish.

Have specific CDC staff members positively impacted your child? How so? 

“Yes. The teachers are wonderful, and you can tell they really care about my child. The Center Director is very accessible and has taken time to get to know both me and my child.”

Unlocking a child’s full potential means supporting that child from all sides. Collaborating with parents AND students is how we at CDC create an engaging and fulfilling experience for our little ones. Reid has been a student with our center for nearly four months now. We’re so proud to see how he’s expressed his curiosity in the classroom and alongside his classmates. 

How has CDC impacted your child and your family? 

“He is so happy, and you can tell that he enjoys being there. It’s more than just watching him. They engage him and this is an important first step in his early childhood educational development.”

Together with his father, our educators are helping Reid develop his sense of discovery and explore the world around him. Our entire staff is thrilled to hear how much Reid enjoys his time with us. We’re certainly growing and learning just as much from him each and every day.
