Each day at Children’s Discovery Center is a new adventure for our students, and no adventure is complete without the guidance of our teaching staff. Our early childhood educators come from all walks of life, with the common goal of making each day full of joy for every child. Educators like Ms. Allie Gable ensure they carry that goal into every lesson.

Helping Each Other Grow

As head teacher of the Toddler B class, Ms. Allie strives to “be the person your inner child would look up to.” She has been with Children’s Discovery Center for a year and a half and combines her experience in cosmetology and as a gym daycare provider to create a caring environment for her students.

Ms. Allie loves seeing the growth and development of her toddlers and says nothing is more fulfilling than seeing their young minds grow every day, especially enjoying seeing them learn new songs and sing their hearts out once they get all the words down!

When asked what she enjoys the most about CDC, Ms. Allie discussed the bright and welcoming environment that the community has cultivated, not only for the students but for the staff as well.

“The staff is like a second family. It’s literally home away from home.” 

Her Personal Life

When she’s away from her students, she loves spending time with her husband and cats. She also enjoys visiting Oak Openings Preserve Metropark, taking walks and dancing to her favorite music. Before joining CDC, Ms. Allie graduated from The Salon Institute in 2019. She’s also a local and sees plenty of familiar faces from her childhood at CDC!

“I grew up in the area and went to Anthony Wayne schools from kindergarten to freshman year,” Ms. Allie said. “Not only do I get to see familiar faces, now some bringing their own children to CDC. I also get to make new connections, sometimes even discovering we have mutual friends!”
