Featured Teacher: Ms. Bridget Bauman

What would our program at Childen’s Discovery Center be without a dynamic educational team committed to nurturing every child through hands-on learning and heart-centered growth?

Through our tried-and-true Reggio Emilia approach, our staff helps every child discover the amazing world around them and connect with the Creator who loves them. Not only do we take great pride in our educational program, but we also value each and every staff member who invests in the hearts, minds and education of our little ones.

Our Featured Teacher

This month, we are celebrating Ms. Bridget Bauman, our Pre-K B Lead Coordinator!

With 11 years of experience in the early childhood development field, Ms. Bauman loves to see the excitement on children’s faces when they finally master a skill they’ve worked so hard to accomplish. Truly, her desire is to see every child succeed!

Ms. Bauman graduated from Olivet College with a bachelor’s degree in fitness management and a minor in business concentration. For the last 11 years, she has faithfully served at our Wolf Creek location, viewing it as her “home away from home.”

She happily recalls meeting and growing with many children and their families over the years, describing every experience as “amazing.”

Her Devotion to Children’s Discovery Center

Ms. Bauman’s devotion to Children’s Discovery Center Wolf Creek cannot be overstated. About her experience, she shares,  “I love that we have a very close-knit family atmosphere, and you can really see the joy as the children and their families enter our building. This will always be my home.”

Not only has Ms. Bauman received the five-year and 10-year employee awards, but she is also celebrated as one of our Happy Gram recipients. Truly, we are blessed to have Ms. Bauman as part of our team!

One of her life mottos is, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” This mantra has served her well in the 11 years she has worked with children and their families. We wholeheartedly agree with Ms. Bauman’s motto and appreciate her outlook on the future of early childhood education.

We look forward to the upcoming projects she has planned, including a dynamic unit called The Titanic.

Her Personal Life

While Children’s Discovery Center Wolf Creek is considered her “home away from home,” Ms. Bauman also enjoys other activities, including going to wrestling tournaments with her family, camping and hiking. Her enthusiasm for life is apparent to all!

So, let’s give a big hand to Ms. Bridget Bauman as one of our amazing Lead Coordinators for Pre-K B. Our staff, and the families that choose Children’s Discovery Center, are blessed to have such a wonderful teacher dedicated to helping every child succeed.

Many thanks to you, Ms. Bauman! We are grateful for all you do!
