For Ms. Savannah, early childhood education isn’t just a job—it’s a calling. With two years at CDC and five years of experience teaching infants, toddlers and preschoolers, she’s been helping little learners grow and thrive every step of the way.

Since joining Children’s Discovery Center, Ms. Savannah has helped guide her students’ curiosity through many exciting projects! Her favorite? While it’s difficult to choose, this teacher says that her class’s Reggio Emilia-inspired exploration of ponds has been the most memorable so far.

Learning, Growing and Creating Together

As a working mother, Ms. Savannah understands the importance of a nurturing environment, not just for her students but for her own child, too. “Being able to bring my child to work with me” is one of the things she loves most about CDC. And when she’s not in the classroom, you can find her crafting at home, a creative outlet that undoubtedly inspires her students’ daily projects.
